The emulsion is infused into the oil base and then whipped to form a lovely silky product that is creamy at room temperature. It quickly melts with body heat.
Apply to the labia, clitoris and GSpot. Anecdotal evidence of these types of products, suggest that it may also reduce menstrual cramps.|
Note: THC may be absorbed through the skin. If performing oral activities, use sparingly. Each 10ml contains 20mg THC.

We are back at it again touching on two of the hottest topics, sex and cannabis. Let's answer some basic questions, like “why would you want to use a cannabis infused lubricant” or “will cannabis increase my pleasure?”.
First off, our rule is that if you can infuse it with cannabis, it’s worth a shot. Bold statement we know, but cannabis is such a versatile plant. If you’ve thought about infusing something with it, chances are it’s been done before, or it’s a great idea! Don’t believe us? Stay tuned for our recipe book and we’ll show you.
Cannabis Lube and The Endocannabinoid System
The human body is loaded with receptors called CB1 and CB2 receptors, these receptors are a part of the endocannabinoid system and are the reason our bodies can absorb and utilize the cannabinoids in cannabis. The endocannabinoid system is a big topic to cover in a lube blog, but feel free to learn more about it here.
How does Cannabis Lube Work?
These receptors are important for our lube blog because of their high concentration in our erogenous zones (sex organs). Because of the internal nature and reproductive functions of the vagina cannabis lubes, and suppositories are far more effective. The vulva and vagina are rich in mucus membranes that allow great absorption of cannabis oil, resulting in effective uptake of the cannabinoids.
YAY! finally, the females of the world get to experience some perks to the not always so celebrated vagina and its functions. Because of the presence of mucus membranes within the vagina there is the potential for intoxication when using lube, so we need to explain the differences between topicals, and suppositories.
Cannabis Topicals VS Suppositories
smoking, eating, or vaping cannabis, topicals are a non-intoxicating
way to use cannabis. Using a cannabis topical applies the cannabinoids
to the surface of your skin to be absorbed by the network of CB2
receptors. Because these cannabinoids are unable to fully penetrate the
blood brain barrier, you do not experience the high you would from
inhaling or eating cannabis. When using cannabis suppositories inserted
rectally or vaginally the cannabinoids come into contact with mucus
glands that allow for quick absorption into the bloodstream.
Is Cannabis Lube a Topical or a Suppository?
Well, to put it simply it’s a bit of both. If the lube enters the vagina or anus then it’s a suppository to some degree, even if it was not intentionally “inserted”. This applies more generally to women due to the concentration of mucus glands in the vagina. Is it going to get you stoned like smoking weed does? You may experience a mild intoxication, but on average the sensations remain localized to your vagina and provides very little head high, if any at all.
If you intentionally insert a highly potent and high concentration of cannabis lube into the vagina then yes, you will experience intoxication. With our recipe below, the dose of a single “serving” or dose of lube is low coming in on average at 6% THC for 1ML of lube and would be considered mild if we are comparing it to the standard beginner edible dose of 10% THC.
Cannabis lube is for more of the, uhm, physical effects like:
- THC dilates the capillaries causing increased blood flow.
- Increased blood flow results in enhanced microcirculation which magnifies sensitivity.
- You do not experience a head high like inhaling or eating cannabis, it is a much more localized feeling of pleasure.
made with cannabis and coconut oil (like ours) are safe for internal
use. Coconut oil actually has natural PH balancing abilities, which is
an added bonus for women.
